TVF Platform is a new paradigm for IP enabled contents delivery to TV.
- TVF is a "VERY" small thumb-drive like size PC/Set Top Box with WiFi, that turns any TV with HDMI input into a smart TV.
- Supported OS is Linux OS with "Android compatibility". Easy to support, and easy to develop applications.
- Operates on USB Bus power.
- TVF has hardware decoder and acceleration for major video codec (H.264,MEG4-AVC, etc), and encryption (AES, etc).
- Unlike other solutions that come with branded B2C services, the TVF Platform is designed to allow any over-the-top service provider to develop a custom hardware solution that suits their service. TVF provides SDKs and professional services to make custom integration and branding of the stick straight forward experience.
Remotely controlled by user's smart phone and tablets.
TVF comes with an application that allows users to control it with their authenticated smart devices. The accompanying SDK(software development kit) makes it very intuitive, easy to use, and fast. (Remote controlling technology is patent pending)
DRM-enabled Player.
TVF can include a DRM-enabled player which supports Marlin DRM and PlayReady DRM. These players have been approved by Hollywood studios for services in Japan in 2011. Tamper resistance support can also be provided as needed.
Multi-task on TVF.
The HDMI stick can run multiple Linux and Android applications.
Easy to upgrade.
Updating the software and firmware on the TVF, or even replacing the stick, is easier than doing so for TVs.
Easy to set up.
The solution works out of the box, requiring no set up fees or delays. You can even mail TVF.
